Rules
1. Punto Banco is played with eight decks of 52 cards at a specialized table that can accommodate up to seven players.
2. The primary objective is to predict which hand, either Punto or Banco, will have a combination of cards closest to a sum of 9.
3. All 10-value cards (Tens, Jacks, Queens, Kings) are valued at "0," while all other cards keep their numerical face value. Aces are worth 1 point.
4. The game begins with the dealer distributing two cards for both the Punto and Banco hands, starting with Punto.
5. Points are calculated in a unique manner: if the total surpasses 9, the first digit is disregarded. For instance, a hand totaling 13 points is counted as 3.
6. Players can wager on either Punto or Banco. Winning hands are typically paid out 1:1. However, if Banco wins with a total of 6, it pays half the original bet.
7. Each player is allowed to wager on one spot (box) within the specified minimum and maximum bet limits indicated on the table.
8. The drawing of third cards adheres to fixed rules. Players do not make decisions regarding this draw.
9. If both Punto and Banco yield the same total at the conclusion of a round, it's termed a Tie or Egalite. Bets placed on the Tie spot are paid out at 8:1, while bets on Punto or Banco remain unaffected by the tie outcome.
